The Wonderful Wizard of Oz by John Cusumano

Our first family show. The Wonderful Wizard of Oz follows young Dorothy Gale, who is swept away from her Kansas home by a powerful cyclone and transported to the magical Land of Oz. To find her way back home, she must travel to the Emerald City and ask the mysterious Wizard for help. Along the way, she befriends a Scarecrow seeking a brain, a Tin Woodman hoping for a heart, and a Cowardly Lion searching for courage. Together, they face witches, wonders, and unexpected challenges as they discover that the qualities they long for have been within them all along. This adaption allowed the children to bring the land of Oz to life in unique ways. They were everything from the Yellow Brick Road, to Twirling Bridges, Dancing Poppies, and everything in between!
